I have the son of a close business acquaintance coming to Calgary to open a NA office within the next three weeks.

I was asked to help find him a place to stay for the few years (?) he will be here.

Things I know:

-He will want to stay in Downtown, and or the Beltline area (downtown preferred)
-He will not want a detached single family house
-He is in his mid to late 30's
-He will be moving here alone and is single
-His dad and/or his brother will occasionally visit him, and prefers to have at least 2-3 bedrooms
-He comes from a very affluent family in the Middle East, and very much so enjoys all his 'luxuries'
-Price will be the last factor in his choosing a home

I am at the very beginning of my search, and I was recommended to look at Le Germaine - which I found out was 100% pre-sold.

Anyone on the board know of the "Creme de la creme" condominium buildings / units in Calgary?

Thanks!

Buildings such as Princeton or Five West might fit the bill... both are higher end buildings downtown with concierge service.

The 'Estate' has some very pricey units with private concierge service

Ugh, princeton is far from luxury IMO.

Le germaine is great....I got in early there, maybe talk to the sales force to see if any are back on the market...the 100% sold is also a strong marketing tool and not always true.

This post smells worse than my Sunday morning Guiness bathroom destroyers.

If the post is genuine, PM me and Ill forward some of the people we use when we bring new people into Calgary.

FYI... there are suites available in most if not all of the condos in and around the city centre for short term rental as well as homes around the city centre.

Some of those look great, although (correct me if I am wrong) - is are the last pictures not from an actual house?

I'll PM you with some further details.

Thanks for the examples.

Last I checked, 2-3 years was not a short term rental. Thanks for the offer - but I'll pass.

Interior design, style, finish....nothing spectacular.

Elaborated?

Yeah I know what you mean by this... the design is a bit...understated, I guess. Some of the details are spectacular (flooring), but some of them are mediocre (cabinets).

The location is great though.

I believe there is another building - "Churchill Estates" that offers luxuary condominiums?

Sorry. I guess I mis-interpreted your post.

Im not sure what your looking. Do you want to buy or rent?

If you are looking to buy, find an agent - your question should have asked for real estate agent recommendations for those who specialize in high-end exec housing.

If you are looking to rent, then ask for recommendation on agencies that deal with.

Unless you have an agent/agency relationship but are looking for some additional advice.

Except it's not going to be done in the next 3 weeks. I agree, it'll be awesome when it's done.

To the OP, you can check out any of the condos in the Eau Claire area, like west of the YMCA. There are some really high-end places there, I think.
