Someone mentioned to me a while back that if you turn in your old unused plates to a registry they give you a $25 refund. Any truth to this? Just curious since I have about 10 old plates hanging in my garage that are no longer registered.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah plate has to be current, and the money will only go to the owner of the plate... :(
If anyone was at chinook on tuesday, all of your plates are sitting behind the gas station in a pile...

I drive my sports car only in the summer and once I tried to get a refund on the registration for the unused portion . Apparently at the end of it with their service fees added on, I ended up owing them a few bucks if I wanted to cancel my registration. Nice.
