Help gang!

I have Windows XP on my laptop from SAIT. While navigating with internet explorer, certain websites would automatically shut down without notice. I've never had this problem before but recently it has been occuring more often. It is getting to the point where it is extremely annoying.

Any reason why? Can I download some software to alleviate this problem? I'm a newbie with computers so don't flame me or else BAN! haha j/k

Thats cause windows sux!! j/k

I would re-install IE 6 this should fix your problem if not I would run a virus scan (if you don't have one you can do a scan from here http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ ) If you do have a virus back up all your data and re-format your machine and do a fresh install of all your programs and data. Hope this works for ya.

Oh yes, those would be from too much porn surfing... the computer's fed up with it, so it shuts itself down... hahaha!!! jk!

Yea, it's very suspicious to be a virus... if not, just reinstall ie6

I had a PC that was doing this - IE would just drop. Fixed with a patch or a reinstall - it wasnt a virus tho.

Could try this:
Open IE,
Tools
Internet Options
"General"
View Objects
Delete Everything in there
OK
Close IE
Open IE and Try
**
