Great pics, but I have to disagree with you on the last pic, the normally aspirated clk55 engine sound is NO match for it's supercharged older brother....

i get the idea some of you thought i actually was calling those rice. they are the fastest touring car series in europe, and i went to watch them on sunday, i was joking

in response to this post, the F1 safety cars have some upgrades to enable them to set a decent pace for the F1 cars, one of which is an exhaust system that makes it sound downright mean. I dont think there is a huge difference in the noise of the F1 SL55/CL55 and CLK55, both are nicer than 99% of cars out there.

they are great in person. dont sound much like a V8, more of a high pitched howl. The Mercedes WERE in a class of their own though.

And it was great to hear the turbo whine of the 962 that you know is such a legend but never thought youd see in person
