Okay, so I know next to nothing about brakes on a car, and I apologize in advance.
So, I bought this car new, it's a 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. The brakes started squealing yesterday. Now, is it because it's freaking cold out, or do my brakes need to be replaced? How can I tell if they need to be replaced? I do work for a dealership, it's just no longer a Subaru dealership so even if I go to the tire shop that we use, I'm still probably going to get ripped off. So obviously, I'd like to check it out first myself to be sure. Tips, tricks, suggestions? Thanks so much!
