View Full Version : Putting your hazards on while your cruising down the highway is awesome

Sorry about this rant but I was driving along highway 2 today about an hour ago, as we all know the weather is garbage so the highways were terrible. What makes it worse are the people who cruise by with their hazards on. People, I know it's something you did when you lived in Ontario but we don't do stupid things like that here in Alberta. Your hazards are meant to be used when there is a hazardous situation ahead or youre pulled over on the side of the highway. Don't throw your hazards on when you're jamming by at 130km/hr, it's distracting, you cant tell when you're braking and it messes other drivers up... turn off your hazards or go back to Ontario.

end rant

Haha this poster is probably one of the retards driving down highway 2 with his hazards on. I didn't think that people were stupid enough to do this, I'm happy that I've never encountered this.

maybe he watches alot of F1.. they use hazard lights when the conditions get bad so you can see the flashing lights of a car your are going to pass, or a car can see you if they are comming by.

I vote on IP ban for this nub.

I have experienced people passing at 130 with the hazards on.. It always leaves me wondering..

Going through the pass for sure.. especially when they're driving slower than they normally would. Hazards are fine if the person is driving super super slow, or they are about to stop for an accident but just normal driving is totally unecessary.

I mean if your driving slow, that is fine... then you are warning people that you are. Driving at 130 down Highway 2 and putting on your hazards just cause its snowing is retarded... like I mean come on it isn't like I can't see the snow...

i have done 130+ on the highways with my hazzards on, but these were secondary highways.

You see a vehicle come screamin up on you with 4 ways on, it is because of a medical emergency and are rushing to the hospital. I grew up on a farm, and this was common practice by everyone.

we all knew to pull over and let these guys past.

I wish you guys could do more IP bans, I know there are ways of getting around that, but that troll has been around here a few times :dunno:
