The verdict is that the M3 is faster at the track because the C63 is not easy to drive at the limit. Tiff was all over the place.

The C63 in the test wasn't equipped with the Sports package, which includes a LSD. I'd like to see a test with the sports package C63 vs M3.

Does the C63 not have an electronic (brake) type LSD at the very least?

I was playing with the 335 last night in the snow and it works pretty good. It fries the brakes though.

Yes, the C63 has that. It works good on the street, at the track, it's good until you pass the limit, then it's a sloppy mess.

I had the same problem when I ran my SLK32 on the roadcourse and at autox's... basically I had to limit myself to driving 9/10ths approaching 10/10ths. As soon as I go over the limit, I lose a LOT of time. It's not easy for transitions such as turn 1 to 3 on the roadcourse, you have to be perfect or you'd lose 1-2 seconds there alone.

What a great stealth car the C63 is going to be.. can't wait to drive one. I think if you debadged it, it would be the ultimate sleeper.

Can't help but think the M3 will be much better to drive overall, but the C63 is definitely impressive, and I love sloppy torque monsters.
