The 'kid' (adult male) in the rollover crash did indeed live. He had minor injuries from what I recall, believe it or not.. you will notice that the car that the PT Cruiser hits gets a fairly significant dent/crush in the driver's side of the car. Word is that this allowed the car to mostly pass over the guy when it knocked him down.

Both the PT Cruiser and the pedestrian entered the intersection on a red light.. the cross traffic had right-of-way.
