LF: Cheap bike

Cruiser, preferably. Not opposed to '80s models. Need a commuting bike, only have about a $1400 budget though.

I know I'm reaching with the price, but maybe somebody has an old bike kicking around they'd like to unload. Even if it needs some work, as long as I can get it running again I'll be fine.

I have a 1990 Suzuki GS500E. I bought it off a friend that upgraded, I was going to make it into a stunter, but I guess I can part with it. It needs some work, as I'll do most of it myself, but I'd be open to offers. I think around your budget would be a good price. It has 33k km's on it, black in color with white three spoke rims. If your interested, I can work out the kinks on it and by the spring time its yours, if you wanted it that is.

Sure I'll take some when I'm at my buddies workplace next, as thats where all our bikes are stored. Its a good bike, but I have no use for it other then to pull the engine and stuff it in a go-cart or use at as a stunter bike or whatever. :dunno:

Okay, I'll keep you guys posted. It has a Ducati Monster seat (by Corbin) aftermarket seat (SOOO comfy), otherwise its bone stock, it could use a new set of the rear plastic, but its good to go. I'll make a FS thread and post in here in time, but its only Jan 31st, so theres no rush
