Just like it sounds, I am looking to buy an S2000. Here is what I am looking for, silver, white or blue ext, int does not matter. 70,000 KMS or under. 2000-2001 I am willing to spend up to $18,000. 2002-2003 up to $21,000. 2004-2006 I don't really want to spend this much but depending on the car up to $25,000 Please no flaming.....just let me know if you have anything to sell. The numbers are a couple thousand dollars higher than clean wholesale, you can check for yourself at www.toyota.ca under the, "appraise your trade" part of the site. Thanks.

Unfortunately you are not in a position to command wholesale prices.....

a quick search reveals what the market has to offer

I guess you're not getting an S2K meeting your criteria in your desired price range.

I think that is one of the better deals on the market for S2000, to bad it's over 2x the km's the OP is looking for...

x2

my 2000 s2000 with 38000KM on the toyota blackbook site is worth $16300. and you're offering only $1700 more. no one in their right mind would let it go for that. you're best bet is to get mikey008's s2000.

Ladies, I am not trying to get everyones ass in a knot. There are cars coming up from the south that guys will be into for well below the CDN book values. I am looking for one of these. Please don't flame the thread just because you are into your car for too much money! I just sold a car for $500 below clean wholesale to get rid of it and I feel that this is the case for everyone right now. Strong dollar means everyone that bought a car more than 12 months ago is way up-side-down. If you don't want to sell your car.......don't!!

It's not impossible to find an S2000 with the conditions stipulated above. Especially for US cars.

I am looking at southern cars but I think that someone will eventually want to unload one that is already here. For 2-3k diff it would be hard to justify the time and effort to get one. I am in no rush. We can go slot car racing when I get one!!!!!!! First guy to lose his licence wins!

Well if you decide to import one, I'll be in Vegas at the end of march and more than happy to drive it back for you! :D

I don't think you'll have long to wait - there are enough of them in Calgary now that you'll find a motivated seller sooner or later.

 to the slot car racing. Good luck with the search!

I've seen 01s in the U.S go for as little as 12k with under 100k km, so keep looking. Don't pay the inflated prices here if you can avoid it.

Just check ebay motors or internet auto guide, there are lots for cheap. I figure that $2500 should cover a flight, food and gas from as far away as Texas. Then 11% at the border and RIV. The only sketchy part is the un-seen deal. 2-3 flights with no purchase and you might as well pay retail here!

The link is down, if that was the blue 02 with 62k, I left the guy a couple of messages with no response. I think it may have been a fake ad.
