Did anyone notice more cops on the Deerfoot ??

Despite their "blitz" , I didn't notice many more cops . I did notice more cops parked in Tim Horton's last night ! :D

I wonder how many tickets were handed out ...


BTW anyone been traveling south on Deerfoot at night ?? It's closed from 64th south ,but they have the lights flashing red for cars getting on to 64th and the off-ramp is backed up for miles.
You would have thought some City idiot could have re-set the lights so they operate their red/green normal day function and keep the traffic flowing better ???

yeah, I drive it every day, and since their blitz I've seen 1 cop on there.....and I think he was just going to an accident or something....lights on but didn't appear to be chasing anyone....

Yeah thats road closure on Deerfoot is a pain for getting home at night :( :thumbsdow Anyone know when it will be done? :dunno:

I havent seen a single police car on deerfoot the entire 2 weeks. Not even a Photo Radar

I saw the odd photo radar but thats about it, and considering I usually have to drive from one end of the deerfoot to the other every day, thats noo "blitz" imo

I drive it everyday as well...I saw less cops during the 'blitz' than regular times haha.

I thought it was over, 10th through 20th I saw quite a few, mostly down by mckenzie near the construction, also noticed turning off of deerfoot onto southland while northbound, but they were nabbing people turning on to southland south bound.

Only saw 1 ghost car, and one girl in her police uniform in her own car going about 140 a couple days ago.

There was a photo radar minivan today between the Southbound Deerfoot/Bow Bottom exit. Last week I also saw a car pulled over by an undercover cop.

I drive deerfoot every day from Anderson to Mcknight and I have not seen more than one cop in the last two weeks on there, some 'blitz'

The cops were probably thinking of the "other" deerfoot!

I drive it a few times every day and I didn't see 1 cop car (undercover or a reg crusier) the entire "blitz" either, IMO they used it as a scare tactic, nothing more.
