So... ive got over 270 000 petro points on my account and was wondering if anyone here has ever redeemed any of their points for the rewards they give out.

if so, lets here what you got and how many points it cost?

the only thing i ever redeemed my points for was 12-packs of pop...cost like 5000 points...

all i know is i regret signing up for that shit. Every couple weeks some asshole calls me from petro canada mastercard and wants me to get there credit card.

just checked the petro points website, apparently you can get a lottery ticket for 3200 points, seriously contemplating blowing all my points on lottery tickets :D

You can use them in-store as well and buy candy and shit.

They also give out pamphlets in 7-11's as to what you can buy

i used mine for hotel vouchers a i used the vouchers to pay for my portion of the hotel rooms when i went snowboarding with buddies- i think they were good at any choice hotels across canada, so they were a little limited in locations etc but every little bit helped when i was a poor student.

but now i only go to shell...for the airmiles. i was collecting PP's for about 8 years until i cashed them in and i felt at the time that it was a joke- it seemed to take way to many points to get anything good.

You can get free gas with the petro points as well i believe

Can you get gift cards with it? I'm thinking of cashing out my RBC rewards for a Futureshop gift card and selling it to someone for cash at 90-95% of face value...
