Hey, if a Hyundai pony or a Saab could rack up a millions miles I guess it's not a stretch for a chev to do it. If verified, pretty remarkable for any automaker!

i agree with u. chevy floods us with how tough their vehicles are so this is big news a gm truck made a million miles.

also gm is almost double the age of honda.

I used to have an '84 S10 with 842,000km's on it. Engine was rebuilt at 400k. Unbelievably reliable, but the body was swiss cheese on it, so I sold it to a guy that used it as a commuter from here to Canmore, I bumped into him a few years after, he had it at 917k. Boggles my mind. It REALLY looked bad at that point with all the salt they put on the mountain roads, but pretty incredible, I haven't him since unfortunately, wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised it rolled over by now. :dunno:
...probably would too as it didn't need anything mechanically when I sold it.

Back when I was in the oil patch, this company I was working for had a pair of 4x4 F-250's. One was a 97, one was a 95. I didn't know this until after I bought the pair, for my older brother (as an off-roading truck) and the '97 for my dads farm, but the 95 had over 900k on it.
turns out the digital odometer was broken, so whenever it was about to turn over to 450k, it would go back to 350k. Well in the 8 years that company had it, it did that 6 times apparently, as it supposedly had over 900k on it when I bought it, but when they bought it, it already had 430k on it (who knows how many times its rolled over before they bought it), so who knows how many km's it has, I'm guessing well over a million, but I'll low ball it to say it has 900k.

Doesn't burn a drop of oil (original 351 windsor) and runs & drives like a champ, just awesome.
Whats really crazy is the fact that that truck has seen literally hundreds of drivers over the years (high turn over rate at the company), and was driven on some of the harshest forestry roads imaginable.... 900k of that... just amazing

tranny blew at 800k after some dumbass decided to tow a skid-steer with it on some very muddy forestry roads.
