Has anyone ever tried them? Are they are to put together in Photoshop?

I tried one for the first time today..

It was hard, becuase after the first 3 frames, it would overlap to much, so i had to move it over to the left...
Any comments?

I have never done this before but also curious how it's done.... I like this portraying stunts or motion but I've seen some where models pose at different positions with different facial expresson, i find that a bit creepy....

edit: what about the shadows , looks like they're missing.

Looks good but the only thing I don't like is the white line around the top most figure.

I've done a few. It'd be easier with a tripod, but without one you need to align all the layers (frames) with something common in the background, like a rock or tree. Then is a process of erasing part of each layer that's covering the subject in the layer behind.

the one of the machine rolling down the hill makes me sad.

however seeing your pics you do like this makes me happy.

to the OP you need to get on a different angle so that the subject does not get "infront" of himself as he moves.

but it is a great start :)

Ekliptix - I really like your shots, I found a tutorial online, and followed the outline for the most part, but I changed a bit myself

Some pretty cool pictures here. You guys all just use AF-S (or manual focus) on a pre-set spot I assume? With a large enough aperture so that nothing is too out of focus? Or do you follow the rider with AF-C and just do more work putting them into one picture? I'm thinking 3D tracking focus on the D300 would be very helpful here, allowing you to not move the camera at all but have the focus point follow the rider throughout the jump all across the frame. AE-L probably helps too.

For most of my shots, I have it on AF and on a tri-pod, I did try MF as well, and they did not turn out bad, but not as well as I liked...

Here is a Sequence shot with me moving the camera with the rider.

(ASP_INTEGRA)? I think thats his name on beyond

This was a little harder to do, becuase you had to like the picture up and then extend it and keep working...
