As I was browsing Canada trader I came upon this:

http://canadatrader.com/result/detailinfo.aspx?ID=31007912&pgno=1&srt=1

As I was browsing ebay I came upon this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-Supra-Turbo-Stroker-Motor-GT47-80-6speed-1300HP_W0QQitemZ250192353863QQihZ015QQcategoryZ6447QQcmdZViewItem

Over the course of a few emails it became certain to me that he wanted a deposit of somesort, as meeting was out of the question, and he was "out of town on important business". Obviously there are other people who may be affected by this scam. I'm curious if there is any sort of method we as a community could use to stop this.

I feel your pain, same kind of thing happened to me.
As soon as I desired to meet or a phone number to talk in-person. He made some bull-shit reason he jsut couldn't. Easy scam to catch, but I'm sure he's snagged a few naive people. Would be great to catch this fucker.

Tell him to forward you $150 for priority postage so that you can send him all hte documentation he'll need to get the sale to go through.

Then ask if he can deal with an agent in nigeria.

...and the phone number is for a 'royal lepage' realty office. i wouldn't call it, as they stated that they are quite sick of all the calls. so, i suppose there's not much we can do, eh?
