I'm looking to get this E34 off terra2imports.ca... it's an excellent price and was wondering if anyone has dealt with these importers before, and what their experience was like?

Also wondering if any BMW buffs can share some knowledge on the E34 M5... maintenance, common problems, any work due around 119 000k?

Thanks!

- Mike

Clutches go pretty quick on the M5's.

Don't you work at a BMW dealership? Why don't you ask a tech?

Yea, apparently has my ip

Anyway, I found this on craigslist, obviously an import from japan, and I'm sure it's priced much higher than what it was purchased for, because I found other examples with similar mileage for around the $15k mark. Any way of finding out what this went for in japan??

most LDM go for that price.. it's handbuilt, rare, and performs. Just like a Corrado, it'll command a lot higher than book prices for a clean example.

expect to pay $90 000 for a 92 JDM Diablo

'Cause they're more expensive, higher mileage... I was ready to buy one from Terra2 with nice rims for $13500 but it had sold already...

I'd say the E34 M5 has become somewhat of a collectors car. It is hard to find clean examples now and rare=value. My dad is selling his E34 for $20,000 and I don't think you could find a cleaner example unless you went to europe or somewhere warm in the US.

We've heard Pacific Gateway in BC is a good company to work with and have good feedback.

A collectors car? You gotta be kidding me.
