Damn, I can't believe I'm saying this, but it has some potential. Lose the front end, spoiler, hodd and taillights and it ain't bad. :dunno:

dunno where your getting dodge from steve. this is a crx through and through. Think it has a b16 in it or something similar talked to the owner of this thing back at the start of last summer. decently made but it's got work left though.

It does have potential... some things just need to be changed.

Hahaha, I can't believe this thing still exists. Yeaaa Richard!!
I've seen this car driving around a few times. Had to take a second look to see what it was. Honestly, if it got rid of the disgusting body kit, the door moldings, the altezzas, the spoiler, (im assuming its fake) CF hood, painted it a normal color, and basically de-rice absolutely everything, it wouldn't be half bad. Basically if absolutely every inch of the car was de-riced, you'd be left with a convertible CRX which might be pretty cool
isnt that the ground designs black widow kit...from 1999 :barf:

Dude works by me...it's funny cuz during the summer, when the weather looks bad, he would have a car cover covering it. If it rains, then he can't drive at all!:dunno:

It still boggles my mind that that kit ever became popular.

Definitely not Kramer Mazda, my buddy works there and I know a few people from there, and no one would drive something that ugly. Most of them all rep the Mazda there anyways lol.

Convertible means it can "convert". This obviously can't.

I've never measured, but this car is as fast as some of my cars that did 0-60mph in 6-7 seconds. A JDM OBD1 B16A (170HP) in a CRX chassis is pretty decent power to weight ratio. The EMS is a genuine spoon chipped ECU and there are basic bolt ons like cam gears, intake, header, exhaust, etc.

If you did all that, you'd have a plain car that doesn't stand out. The body kit and spoiler and paint is what makes the car. The convertible wouldn't have worked without the body kit. And I'm not a big fan of Altezzas either but the original taillights looked like ass on the car.

The kit was really nice looking at the time when body kits were all the rage and the term "rice" wasn't coined yet. Back when F&F just came out. I still think it looks pretty cool.

Actually the owner does work at Kramer Mazda. He's in the process of buying out my share of the car right now. He's done a lot of work on the car and I give him mad props for it.

That's on the list of things to do, but not very high up. The car was originally started by Impressions as a show car but they went belly up before they could finish the car. The car serves it's purpose quite well as a show car or as a car that can take to the roads when the conditions are good.

Funny how fast and the furious absolutly killed customizing a persons car hey?
Yeah , i know im going to get shit flung my way by the 16 year old monkeys that want to be hardcore with their JDM bullshit, but lets face it - 5 years ago people who modded their cars... well you could tell who you were driving past / alongside. now every single 240 sx looks the fucking same... modified or stock.
Im not saying body kits are what make the car, but it was a lot easier to tell people apart who were car enthusiasts vs daily drivers.
Now people get lowering springs and a lip and call their car unique

I don't like the way the hood sits.
I love the concept of the car overall. I would love to see and hear this thing in person.
