I'm looking for a beater to get me around for a little while at least...I got into an accident the day I paid tuition for school and am a broke ass college student, lol

Just looking for a beater that:
-runs well
-is great on gas
-<$1000
-doesn't look like total shit (body is decent, minimal rust)

89 civic hatch, some damage on RF corner, and its a 5spd. runs good but needs a battery (i might have one to throw in). decent set of snow tires on it. 279,XXX Km will deliver to calgary for $400
