Damage Sticker

I somehow lost my damage sticker for my vehicle that I need for my insurance claim. I thought it was in my glove box but it isn't in there.

I still have a copy of my police report. Can I simply go into a police station and get a new one with my report?

Yah the body shop requires the damage sticker because of the insurance claim. Also the damage to my vehicle is more than $1000 thus a damage sticker is required anyway.

Won't the shop repair it with a copy of the police report instead???

they can do it with a police report, but it takes longer. they get a cop to come to the body shop to make a new sticker. if you have the report just go to a police station and ask them to make a new one for you

Awesome. I'll just go get a new damage sticker tomorrow then. I take my car in for repairs on March 4th so still plenty of time.
