Well I’ve finally decided to sell the rest of my Supra since parting out most of the motor and aftermarket parts a few months ago. I was hard pressed trying to decide what to do with the long block and the shell but have since decided to sell everything and focus on other things in my life. In the last couple years I have been travelling a lot and have been working like crazy so I didn’t have any time to work on the Supra and finish it so I eventually gave up. It’s been 5 years since I started the rebuild and 3 ½ years since the motor was put back in the Supra after it’s rebuild and since I haven’t had time to finish the Supra, it’s all gotta go.

Most have no idea how much money, work and time was put into this car, those that do know are probably shaking their heads at my decision but it’s about time I move on and focus on travelling and buying a house.

I would like to sell everything as a package but would be willing to part the block from the shell if buyers were found for both and the pulling of the motor was organized by them as I don’t have the time or the space.

Here’s a rundown of what’s included in the block/tranny as well as approximate cost at the time of the build:

- Machine Work - $3000 (Includes all balancing/blueprinting, shot peening of the rods, lapping of the deck, machining of the head and all it’s components, etc)
- JE 0.40 over Pistons - $900
- JE Piston rings - $200
- Toyota Gasket Kit - $150
- HKS 3.0mm Metal Headgasket - $200
- Clevite Rod Bearings - $100
- Oil Filter Relocation Kit - $50
- ARP Rod Bolts - $75
- ARP Head Bolts - $120
- Solid Motor Mounts - $50
- Powdercoating various Engine parts - $200
- Assembly of bottom end - $500
- RPS Billet Flywheel - $700
- SPEC Stage 3 Clutch - $500

That’s over $6600 in costs and doesn’t include all the time I put into the assembly of the rest of the motor and the cost of all the little sensors and plugs that were replaced in the block. This motor can handle serious power! The original goal when building this motor was to reach 525 RWHP but this motor is capable of handling much more with the right tuning.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the motor has not been started since the build and everything is oiled/lubed and ready to be started up once the other parts for the motor are purchased and installed on the motor!

I will give you a basic rundown of some of the extras that are coming with the car when it’s sold as a whole.

- KVR Rotors - $400
- Earls Steel brake Lines - $120
- Walbro Fuel Pump - $110
- Pioneer CD Player - $150
- Lotek 3-Gauge Pillar Pod - $60
- Apexi Turbo Timer - $120
- Eibach Pro-kit Lowering Springs - $250
- Infinity Speakers in the door and rear - $200
- Alpine Type R 12” Subs(2) - $500
- Rockford Fosgate 1000bd Amp - $800
- Stinger Wiring Kit - $75
- Install setup for the Subs/Amp/Speakers - $1500
- New RS-R Muffler - $200
- Various powdercoated items including Cam gears/valvecovers - $100

That’s over $4600 in extra parts and that’s not even close to all the extras that are coming with the car. I still have a crap load of stock parts that I haven't even bothered listing since I have so many. The wiring harness was also rewrapped to make it new again!

The Shell is in great condition with just under 200k on it. I’ll have the exact milage when I get home in 7 days from work. It was painted just before I bought it in 2002 and doesn’t have any major dings or damage. There are a few very small scratches in a couple places but most would go unnoticed if I didn’t point them out. The targa has never ever leaked so that is good! The only part of the body that isn’t in great shape is the hood due to it falling over when we had it against the house while test fitting the CF hood. It still fits on the car and all but most will want to replace the hood at some point due to the damage done by the fall. The interior is light grey cloth and in great condition. The wheels that come with the Supra were from a Japanese Lexus, unfortunately there isn’t much rubber left on them at all.

Other things to consider with regards to the body/interior:

- The front bumper is off the car but is included. It was taken off to fit the IC properly and build IC pipes.
- The drivers door exterior molding is off the car but I bought a new piece and will be included with the car
- The driver and passenger side headlight covers have been taken off but are included (they were taken off to fir the CF covers)
- The window trim above the front windshield is gone. It will need to be replaced
- The brake callipers are off the car as I was in the process of painting them and installing the stainless steel brake lines.
- The windshield is cracked along the bottom of the window
- The rear passenger side corner moulding is missing the rubber insert
- The glove box was taken out to mount the new ECU but is included with the car
- The driver’s side interior pillar was taken off to install the Lotek 3 gauge Pillar pod (included) and is included with the car.

I have included as much info about the car as I could think of but if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Here are some pics of the car and the motor, I don’t have any current ones with the bumper off and the damage to the hood but I will get some when I’m back in town on Feb 19th. I’m sorry for the lack of interior pics, I will take some when I get back in town as well!

Not my supra but these are the wheels that are included with the car!

This is basically what will be included with the motor, minus the manifolds and the Turbo of course!

Puting the motor in, you can kinda see that the bumper is off, like it is now. You can see the SPEC Stage 3 clutch as well

This is the motor installed, remember that only the long block is included, not any of the manifolds or the turbo, etc.

I’m asking $6000 for everything! That’s extremely cheap for the package considering how much was put into the Supra and all the extra parts that come with the car. I don’t have the time to deal with lowballers or tire kickers, SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE!

I'm not really looking for trades at the moment, would rather put the cash toward a house or travelling.

I live in Calgary, the supra with Okotokes in the background is my buddy Brad's Supra. It looks familiar because he drives around Calgary quite a bit during the summer. His Supra looks way different now though with CF lip, Enkei RP03 wheels(gunmetal) and my Turbo spooling the beast.

My Supra hasn't been driven for just about 5 years so that's why most haven't seen it around. Most people in the Supra community know about my car though and will vouch for the quality!

Thanks Vic, you spent many a day at my place while this Supra was being built, I get razzed everyday for not finishing it.

Thanks

Jason

I just wanted to appologize to those waiting to see the car, this last month has been stupid crazy with my work and I was only home a few days to be able to show the car and unfortunately not many could see it in that small time frame.

I should be back home in the next week or so in which I will post and let everyone know I am hom and available to show the car.

I will also be considering offers lower than my asking price because I will be leaving at the end of April for Asia for 4 months and would rather have it sold than put it in storage.

For those interested in just the body or just the motor, let me know and if I get a buyer for each, I will part them separately however I will not be responsible to pull the motor since I am not home enough to have the time to do so.

I will also try to get some extra pics put up, my internet connection up north isn't great so I'll try my best to get them up before I come home!

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or email me! Again only serious inquiries please!

Thanks

Jay

So all thats missing is cooling system and intake/exhaust system?

Hi-Psi

Well basically yes that's correct. It honestly wouldn't take long to put back together once you have the stock parts or aftermarket parts if you chose to push big power. It looks scary when you see the stuff missing on the motor but in all honestly it takes less than a day to put it all back together.

This is a really tempting project. Please pm me exactly what is missing from the engine to make it run. I want to approximate how much id have to put in to get it running.

Ill give you a call if you still have it in June. Hows the frame look on it btw?
