Pay is depended by the job. Weekends are really good! Right now as it stands, I am loosing calls on the weekends cause I can't make it in time. Also I do pay for partial of your gas as a bonus!

Our hours of operations are 6pm to 4am, however we don't really start to get calls until about 10. If you can't start at 6 and you need to start later on in the evening... that can be arranged, but I do need drivers that can work till 4am... or sometimes later.

How exactly does this work? How do you get around once you drop the person of him at he's home.

Sorry everyone,

Like I said before, if you have any questions please just call me. It is much easier to explain on phone than it is to type it out.

How does it work? You drive to the drunk's car and drive them home? Is someone following you in your car?

Then you drive to the next drunk?

How often do people decide not to pay?

This is just a question.

So you drive your own car to lets say tantra. You meet with the customer and drive them in their own car. The customer lives in bears paw. How would you get back to your own car, that is currently parked at tantra?

EDIT: ^^ Got beat by 2 other ppl.

I thought it was always working as a team of two people, one woudl drive the drunkies home, and the other one would follow (in own car) then drop off, get paid and pick up the next

That's exactly how it works, you do need to find a friend to drive with you. Your partner will follow you behind and when you do get to "bearspaw", you figure out the charge.

We have never had a case where someone doesn't pay you because you don't give back their keys till you get cash in hand.

I don't really want to drive the other person's car and handle the transaction side of things, but I do have a fuel efficient car.

Anybody want to try this out for a weekend and see if it's worth it?

If I drove a Ferrari F430 to a bar, got hammered and called u guys, would I still get charged for the safe ride? You'd think driving something like that would be payment enough...

Always wondered that. No, I don't have a Ferrari haha.

I'm interested in the "Perks" too, are we talking like a $5 tip, or road head from a drunk chick?

i can start at 10....Whoever is hammered by 6..LOL

Ok guys, here are all the questions answered:

Perks?:

Because we are linked with so many radio stations in Calgary, we can pretty much get any tickets to any concert possible before they go on sale... FOR FREE!!!

Any electronics... I just picked up a BNIB 46" Sony Bravia 1080p for $250....

Get the idea?

Pay:

Yes, 40% does go to Jon... I am the owner so I need to make some money too.

60% goes to you and your partner... This is kind of a given but most of my drivers split 30/30. Your guys keep your own tips.

I can't give an average cause I can't predicate the outcome of the night. There are some nights that you and your partner will only make $30 each and there are nights where you and your partner will make $300 each.

During Christmas, the least amount my partner and I made was $150 a night each. It really depends on the holiday, events, pay week or not and how cold it is out.

In the summer you will make A LOT of money... Stampede you will make easily clear over $1500 for the whole week.

Hope this answers everyone's question. However, I currently have enough drivers. Thank you for the inquiries, I will be looking for more drivers in Spring. If there should be any openings I will post again.

In case anyone is interested in our services, our dispatch number is:

257-SAFE (7233)

Our hours of operations are as follows:

Mon-Wed 6pm to 2:30am
Thurs-Sat 6pm to 4am

We do operate 7 days a week!

Pre-bookings are available and are recommended cause it will guarantee you a time slot!

Again... Thank you everyone!

I am not interested any more, not enough money

I'm sorry but that's not much money to have to deal with drunks, give up your nights, talk a friend into giving up their night.. When you can make $12.00/hr at 7-Eleven or Burger King, know exactly how much you're going to make and have a lot more reasonable hours and not have to deal with obnoxious drunks.

Seems to me that instead of calling Jonathon on 890-8960, maybe Jonathon should be calling the taxi company and getting a proper job in this regard?

I'm not interested in this, but pose a general question.

How is the insurance handled for this?

Does an "employee" of yours require full coverage insurance on his/her own policy?

Are you "riding" on the insurance of your customers?

What if a ticket/accident etc occurs during work? Is this on the vehicle owner, or the "employee"?

SpoonEK9@STRD

It would be better if you provided the vehicle.
Driver of the company vehicle should get paid hourly, and the driver of the impaired should get the delivery pay.

I couldnt see the tips being a hole lot, and splitting it would suck.
Imagine if you had to goto Bearspaw from Tantra, and a 5 dollar tip to split between you guys. You'd have wasted a majority of the night going that far.

What happens if a drunk gets aggressive all of a sudden and attacks me? Can I sue you for providing an unsafe workplace?
