:D Hi all, I'm new to the forum so i apologize if there has been a similar post.

I was wondering if any of you went through an online dealer to purchase a car. The 2 that i'm looking at are CarCost Canada and Cars4U.com

I like the ideal of not having to deal with sales people one on one except for setting up a test drive and dealing with personal info.

What were your experiences?

Did it, it was alright. Word of caution.... pictures can lie. It is sooo hard to determine if it is worth the trip to see/test drive a car just from the internet, and email.

Don't know specifically about those 2 online dealers. The one that I used was in Houston, and they were cool about the information etc, but pretty poor on customer service and replying to messages overall.

I bought my last two cars through NADAGuides.com (American only) and it was a fantastic experience. I figured out what I wanted, submitted a purchase request, got a call from the internet manager at the dealership, and negotiated over the phone.
