TO answer a couple of questions.
I've as of yet to really push the machine as I really don't own any current Games. I've Played Half-life on High res and Unreal tournament and they look fantastic. Really I built it thinking I'd get back into gaming but I'm sticking with the Consoles and my Macs.

That's the Extreme Quad Core, right?
You should point that out if so.
8600 is a very strange choice for a rig like this.

Not the Extreme.

Video card was more of an after thought so that I could run 2 DVI input monitors at the same time. Otherwise I was just going to be more of a server for me to play with but I'm not so time to let someone else have some fun on a great machine.

Why not build a Hackintosh?
10.5 works well on pretty much any hardware. You'll never get a quad core Apple rig for this little money.

that was the plan but I could use the money for another project and I'm not home enough to play with it at the moment.
