I got the shaft for my first job. Family business FTMFL

Title: Restaurant slave worker
Wage: $3600/year 40hours/week.$1.73/hour for the first year. I remember that shit like it was yesterday
Year: 1995

Had to go straight to work after school and worked all the weekends. I blamed my poor grades and rebellious attitude because I had to work so much and could never hang out with my friends.

It was all worth it though in the end.
