They were at Costco in Hawaii for $100

They're expensive everywhere now. May as well get it at Walmart because they have the least hassle on exchange if something went wrong.

Futureshop, visions (but expensive there) many automotive parts stores.

Shouldn't be more then $200. The Yellow tops retail for around $300 most places.

I'd try Costco, Walmart, Crappy Tire, in that order.

You can try Costco, but all the ones up here I've been to only had the marine "blue top" batteries.

I saw a redtop last week. $130 if I recall correctly.

I just went with the kirkland. It had more CCA for $80.

alright well im looking to power a system which isnt huge, maybe 1000 rms and my airride set up off of it. should i be looking for CCA instead of the kind of battery? this is a spring/summer car only.

If you're going to run your audio system with the engine off, I'd go with a deep cycle, like Odyssey or the Yellow Top. If you're just looking for a battery, get something that'll crank the car. Red tops look pretty though and they're sealed for trunk mounting.

They work pretty well. Yellow top is nicer looking  That's about it.
