jus wonderin what style of ppe you have on there and what kinda fuel system you have as well, upgraded cp3? duel fueler?

It is the PPE Excellerator up to level 4. Never ran level 4, ran level 3 once and a while and usually keep on level 2. Stock fuel system supports well up to level 5 so I never upgraded the fuel system. A dual CP3 with level 6, upgraded tranny and tie rod sleeves would sit around 750hp most likely, 550whp. So another 6k into this beast and thats what you'll get.

Also figured I'd mention that the truck has never towed so it is still breaking in. Every oil change it seems I get better mileage by .5 to 1mpg. Probably peak around 20-24mpg. First got the truck it was getting about 14mpg for comparison. And diesels take a while to break in, especially when not towing.

6k, lmfao, where your gettin 6 k for all that i'd love to know, jus to have a tranny that would support 500-600 hp safely runs you 7 grand installed, then your lookin at for that truck another 3 grand for duel cp3's plus either another grand for the new ppe to make you that power, or ditch it and go with efi live and do it all right. And even then your still only makein decent numbers and thats not even an upgraded turbo either. do you have gauges even in the truck? because if not there is another 3-700.

honestly man you have a beautiful lookin truck don;t get me wrong but don;t say you have 500 horse, myself right now i;m tryin to sell my truck for 35,000 and haveing a tough time with it. i have an 04 chevy 1 ton, 8 inch lift, 37's fully loaded, pioneer avic d3 1000 watt amp and 1 12 sub, i have two chips stacked with lots of extras, makin 527 hp and 1300 lbs of tourqe all to the rear wheels. trust me at the price your askin man a guy can go buy a brand new truck like ours off the lot for that. jus a heads up thats all.

Well mabe not 6k for the dual fueler but with the upgraded cp3 yes 6k is quite easy, and thats with a suncoast tranny...if you look around for deals. Check out dieselplace.com as I'm sure you are already aware of. And guages are only 200-300 and the upgrade for the next 2 levels on the PPE would be only 300 if that. I'm not arguing about prices because a fool could get all that work done for 15k and a smart man can do it for less, as is with everything in the car part industry. EFI live would be a nicer route to go I agree.

Where I arrive at 500hp? Well firstly stock is 360HP...secondly level 4 adds 225HP. So thats 585HP already, not that I run level 4 so I advertise 500HP...and nowhere did I say that was at the wheels. Crank HP is most likely around the 500HP mark as level 3 adds 160HP so that would be 520HP at the crank. And still I have no cat no muffler exhaust with intake, ram air and such. So yes 500hp at the crank is a conservative statement at the least. Also PPE has been known for making one of the more performance oriented chips available in comparison to hypertech, bullydog and edge for examples.

Now I'm sure you have a pretty nice truck too, main difference in price is mine is 2 years newer, has the LBZ engine which seems to be the most attractive and I have one of the few LBZ models which gets damn good gas mileage. I'm not gonna try to compare apples with oranges here, fact is trucks with the LBZ engine code and relative mileage are selling for 43-50k without mods at the dealership.

Good luck with your sale, I've had plenty of interest already but with the new market it is harder. I'm selling for 50 otherwise I'm keepin it.

Looks like I'm not keeping it, going to buy a house before summer. Good deal here!!

P.S. Drove to regina on one tank last week!! 763km on 88litres. 20.4 miles/gal. Speed was always >110km/h
