i didn't even now their was a forum or blog for this but it actually works i had a 20gb photo for the longest time couldn't figure out was wrong so after i decided it was junk and thought i would toss it around, use up some of my frustration towards that i was out of 300 bucks and it started working again... it perma died a little later one no matter how many times she was dropped on the floor but was a great solution/ temporary fix for at least 6 months...

have you tried formating it?
