Not just Calgary, not a major winner in all of Alberta, in fact only 2 winners in all of region 2 (consisting of Ab, Sk, Mb, NWT, and Yukon), and yet there was 3 in BC which got half as many cups.

I guess us Albertans are just too busy counting our millions in oil revenue, than to be bothered rolling up the rim.

I love an XL double-double from tims, think it tastes great! When I have drip coffee it's the only place I'll go.

That being said, I'm well informed on the what makes a quality capp./espresso/americano (and you can find none of those at starbucks/timothy's/second cup btw). It all depends on what I'm in the mood for but for a buck 70 Tim's makes a sufficiently adequate cup of brew imo.

Perhaps when I started this thread, I should have made a point to include the size of cup that people are buying/winning on? My younger brother who buys a "large" coffee is now 6 and 7, his wife buys a "small" coffee and she is 4 and 6. My wife and I buy the "X-large" coffee's and we are, lets just say way behind the average.

Is it possible that the coffee cup size plays a role here?

which timmy's do you go to? I've been avoiding the one in my neighbourhood (Riverbend) because its sucks wang on a normal day....Roll up the Rim time will be more painful. I miss the Coventry Hills Timmy's...military like training for those staffers. :thumbsup: Very speedy and I always got everything right!

If you want to see slow.....hit the Tim's on the west side of Airdrie! I have seen this place with 20 plus cars waiting! The design of the drive-thru is the worst I have ever seen. People cant get out of the parking lot, they end up driving over the boulevard to get onto the street (which is usually blocked with the 20 cars waiting in line). THEN the delivery truck arrives.....blocks the entire parking lot! It is actually funny to watch the people needing their "fix" of caffeine, the passenger will get out and head into the store (where there are already 25 people waiting), driver remains in line hoping to get through before the passenger gets back out! I have seen 3 shouting matches in the drive-thru, people waiting to order just coffee and the vehicle in front ordering enough sandwiches and donuts to feed the entire Stampeder football club!

In addition, out of 6 double doubles 4 will always taste different (not enough cream, too much sugar, not enough sugar....)

The worst is going there for breakfast. Wake up nice and early and go to run over to get something to munch on and some morning coffee and theres a line out the door and you know theres no way in hell you'll be helped in less then an hour.
