well seems to me you might not get an answer to your question. JDM source seems to be hands down the one most people deal with on here. I hate jdm cars but have to admit the ones I've seen from JDM source have all been really nice. Have to say they also seem to not mind dropping the price to reflect if there's been damage from shipping. IMO some other companies on here sell pieces of shit that need a good couple grand to fix the body up nice and still sell them at steep prices.

JDM Source FTW. I have to say if i ever work up the guts to get a Cosmo I would go see them.

ive seen cars on JDMconnection that are the exact same (literally, the same car from the same auction) as importconern.ca, except $1000-$3000 more expensive. They seem like expensive ametures.

i got my 300 from jdm connections, talk to will ( i believe his name was ) hes the owner. Very nice guy. hes also very honest. Give them a call, i drove up to edmonton when i payed him. a week later he called me and said that the 300 i was looking at had some engine problems, and asked me if i wanted him to find me a new car or the money back. He found me a cheaper one in better condition withen a week.

jdmsource is the best. they dont compare to anyone in the industry.

nevermind scams like street_imports and yoko-tire japanese engines. no wonder why jdmsource is number one, they know dont bs , and are straight forward.

Actually they are - The handful of first production ones were in December 1992. The mass production of the Supras started in April 1993.

I don't think it's possible to buy the first production examples, wouldn't they likely be prototypes or display vehicles that are destroyed after their used. I was under the impression that these vehicles were never sold to the public. After 15 years of these cars getting written off and exported all over the world, it's extremely hard to find even one of the first 100 cars of a production series.

It wasn't even 100 it was more like 50 or so that were part of the first production line. It'd be pretty tough to get your hands on one of those, but that's not to say impossible.

From what I understand. Those 50 or so aren't even the prototypes - they're actual models produced for consumption.

After some research, I saw that these were produced up until 2002 in Japan!

yeah ur right, however between december to april there were only 52 made, and i think its really hard to get ur hands on something like that

Apparently JDMtooners imported one of the first 32 JZA80s ever made, somehow February legal...They also imported one of the first R33 Skyline's ever made, based on when it was imported it would have been manufactured nearly one year before major production started at the Nissan assembly lines. Has anyone else seen these cars?

www.terra2imports.com or is it
www.terra2imports.ca (?); both seem to be down.

www.j-specimports.ca are two other very good ones. I'd avoid JDM connection. Many of their cars are these shit auction rejects. The ones that aren't are (usually) atrociously expensive.
I'd never think about buying a car through JDM connection. :thumbsdow
