I don't mind it in hatch form actually. I think it looks better than the sedan. I prefer the rear light treatment by far.

I've never really been fond of the "rally" look overall anyway. As such- I find the new STI a much better looking vehicle than the previous version - if not a bit more generic. And I find that both the STI and EVO (Now just called "Evolution" I believe) in hatch/wagon form look better than their sedan counterparts.

For the people that want utility there you go. I don't love it but it looks like it could carry a fair bit. The brown interior looks like they purposely went out to make the interior look as bad as possible. What a waste of good seats.

Both the STI and this EVO hatch look decent. I'm liking the new styling coming from both manufacturers.

The STI resembles me of a mazda 3 hatch, whereas this one resembles a mazda 5 hatch.

IMO the EVO looks like a station wagon and the STI looks like a minivan. I know they have utility but the wife already has an SUV so I prefer sedan. If it's your only vehicle I can see why you may choose a hatchback though as you can have your speed and haul shit too.

While I haven't driven the EVO, I assume I would love as I love the last STI when I drove it. But I just could never buy something that I hate the look of so much no matter how much I enjoy driving it. I guess I don't mind the look of the WRX sedan. It is as bland as a corolla, but at least not as fugly as the hatch imo.
