My girlfriend wants some good tiramisu cake for her birthday party, but I'm not sure where I could get some.

We've had tiramisu from Amandine's bakery before, but it wasn't that great--so I was wondering if anyone knew where else I could look.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I found that page, I even called some of the restaurants; but they don't sell cakes by the whole.

It's more of a come in and eat our cake thing. :(

My best friends mom used to make tiramisu for their restaurant way back (Da Palo's Restaurante on 17th (it's still there but owned by different people now and is crap)) and was rated the best tiramisu in Calgary.... but you would have to pay her a lot to get her to make another cake. I can't even get her to make me a small cake.

Look, we all know home-ec is a joke - no offense - it's just that everyone takes this class to get an A, and it's bullshit - and I'm sorry. I'm not putting down your profession, but it's just the way I feel. I don't want to sit here, all by myself, cooking this shitty food - no offense - and I just think that I don't need to cook tiramisu. Am I going to be a chef? No.

Amadine is pretty good. Where is Yamato? It's a sushi store like the one in Northland?

Yamato is also on Centre St, by the TD bank/Shoppers...

IIRC they also have 1/2 other locations now.
