well i might be doing a motor swap in the distant future.

what i'm mainly concernd about is the engine matience, i typicaly hear about when people wreck there jdm engines its due to lack of basic maitence and care of these jdm motors.

i only know a few things such as, letting the motor warm up even on warmer days just to get the oil flowing. oh and only use premium fuel only as its the lowest grade of fuel they will run on properly. but anyother things i should know before i get a jdm motor?

Ummm.....

One word of advice, if your lazy and dont have patience, invest in a turbo timer...

And I'll let others chime in on this ridiculars thread

The mane thing to no about getting a JDM motar is that even though its souper mad-tyte it wont werk properly if not instal'd in a RHD car. Something about the JDM wiring running backwerds polarity or sumthin.

Come on guys...he asked a seriars kweshun and you all hate on him??...

It is really like any other motor Gov'nah...just treat it how you treat your USDM mill and you will be fine...

Yes, letting the engine idle for a moment or two after a spirited run is always advised, and not revving high right after start up...but the biggest things...just change the oil and maintain it...

"my dog was chewing on my balls and wasn't typing properly cause the cat was hissing at me" ...
for those playing the home game, matinence is commonly known as maintenance

for the 89 motor swap in a 240 .... maintenance advice? sell the piece of shit; use premium if you don't follow advice, allow plenty of warm up time and do not rev it it immediately after start up
