LF: Swim Coach/ Instructor w/YMCA membership

I have to swim as part of my rehab... however, I lack the knowledge to be able to swim effectively. I need someone to teach me technique and the basics.

Right now I do a lot of kicking and paddling, but I don't go anywhere.

my brother does this kinda thing. He doesn't have a Y membership though and I don't know how you would feel about a 17 year old teaching you (he has done all the training and has tought before)

But I have a Y memebership- I may just end up getting some private lessons... they are only 20.00 each session for members
