Personally i think Jaguar is on the right track with this car. The picture quality is a little blurry, You can thank Blackberry for that.

even thought they don't own Aston Martin anymore, it looks like ford is 'cross-branding' a bit in the rear end there with the Aston Martin-ish taillights...

headlights are pimp, grille is a little much... not bad overall...

Yeah, they are trying to get away from that because all their customers were dying off (sounds terrible, but it's true, only old people bought them). Same thing Lexus did with the IS, trying to squeeze into a younger market.

Sweet car.

It's only ON the right track cause they are still stealing styling cues from AM...as usual.

The rest reminds me of a facsimile of the QP

The interiors on these are insane.

I think the black one looks much better than the other colour, I really like the look of these cars, I do agree though, back end looks a lot like an aston. The interior is damn pimp though.

The engineer for Aston Martin moved over to Jaguar, that's why there are similarities in the designs. Nothing was stolen.

no argument there, but still, engineers are paid to come up with new designs, not reuse old ones... its just too similar to me...

finally they got rid of that J shifter (or did they get rid of that in the S-type...?). But this one looks sweet, if resale was a little better in those, i would buy one when i reach 40 (down from 60)

Nah, the Stype still had the J-Gate shifter.

I loved loved loved the concept, and it lost a lot of that aggressiveness when it went into production...
Awesome interior, meh on the aesthetics of the rest of the car.

Agreed, the vents and the shift "knob" open and pop up respectively when the ignition is turned on...

I saw a Supercharged black XF in Scottsdale yesterday...very sleek looking. It definitely looks like an AM from the rear. The chrome grill and headlight washers are plastic, not sure how they would fare on Calgary roads. The inside looks like typical Jag class, however the seats don't have much lateral support on the backs or bottoms. List price for a loaded XF was $62K. I think CDN list for the same model will be around $77K.

These were '09 models...so leaving it in the US for 6 months and then bringing it to Canada by Sept would still keep it early in the model year.

looks better than their other models, that they have been resusing over and over again. Too bad this isnt fully original. Sucks about the tails, thats one of my favorite parts of a Martin.

That knob for the transmission is really cool. It sits flush until you start the car and then it pops up. The back lighting on all the buttons is really cool too. My boss's supercharged one is supposed to be in on March 25th and I can't wait to drive it!

Man I still prefer the previous model XJR.

I think Jaguar interiors have always looked WAY too "old" for such an expensive car. It's nice to see they have moved away from the old "opulent" designs to a more modern interior treatment.
