Well I don't know what happened, but the little chip that is the resistor or transistor (or whatchamacallit) bit the dust in my laptop and since I needed to get work done right-a-fuckin-way, I just went out and bought a new one. I took the laptop in to London Drugs and it seems they can order the chip in for $100 (it's easily replaced if you have a screw driver).

Without that part, the laptop can still be used as a very good desktop computer if you just plug it into a screen. It comes with a remote control and has infrared built into the machine. I have played some Battlefield on it along with various other games, however it was mainly my school notebook so it is not abused.

I have also put one of those skins on the top of it since the metal shell was receiving scuff marks. It has never been in motion while it was moving and has almost always been opened from the center-outward (as to not stress the sides of the glass). She is a very good machine that needs a new home. If I wasn't so impatient, I'd order the part, but looks like bills come first in this case.

Asking $500 + $15 shipping.
