Looking for a place that has a nice environment (able to bring a girlfriend to) for a fair price and decent food. Any suggestions?

Fair price for me is <$25-30 per person

piccolino's on 142 st @ about 93 ave is amazing! entree's and 1 appy would be around that amount with no liquor...

i think you might have to up your budget unless you want to just drink pops and eat at the regular moxies/earls cuisine...

other good places are sicilian pasta kitchen on jasper and 112st... that place is awesome especially to bring a chick and the price is right in your range...

fancier place would be il portico on 107st and 100ave. that place is best out of the 3 but would be about 50/person including main and appy and a glass of wine.

May I suggest Red Robin's. Can't get it in Calgary and bottomless fries

Came to $140 for 4 people, which included app, drinks, entrees.

Also agree, I like the West End one the most. The burgers are really good.

It's been awhile, but we enjoyed Cafe Select (downtown one, not Whyte). I think it was $100 with a bottle of wine, and dessert for 2. Nice and quiet, candle lit ambience.

My favourite restaurant, The Dish & The Runaway Spoon. Very decently priced in a small dining room; has like 10 tables total. Trust me when I say this, ANYTHING on the menu is good! I've tried everything, and even their Mac and Cheese is to die for!

12417 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton Alberta T5N 3N3
(780) 488 6641
Monday - Saturday
11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

I really had a good dinner and time at Bob and Ernie's. If you like home cooked german food that is the place to be!

I have been told by many as well their breakfast is the best in the city - however you need to come early and be prepared to wait.

Sicilian pasta kitchen, totally. It's romantic, but not cheesy, and its definitely reasonably priced.

BARB and Ernie's :) And yes, best eggs benedict on the planet. It's more for the morning AFTER the big date, though ;)

May I suggest the Creperie. Very nice atmosphere and fantastic food. $80 with drinks is easily done. Cafe Select is also good, as somebody mentioned. I also enjoy il Portico, and again, can easily be had for $80 with drinks.
