there is a Gb on the mr2 board right now for a sub that fits in the stock location.. im waiting for mine to show up. I dont like having sub boxes behind the seats.

I had a custom built box that fits behind the passenger seat. I like it there, and it's loud enough for me.

I turned my whole frunk into an enclosure at one point. But go tired off all the bass, so I removed it.

there was some site online where the guy was making perfect sub boxes for the back of the seats :S cant find it now. you can have boxes built at visions or whatever. most people put the amp in the frunk if they have two subs or behind one of the seats if they have one sub. ill take pics when myine is done.

link for the group buy stock location sub: http://www.mr2.com/forums/ems-powered/Toyota-MR2-25811-gb-subwoofer-stock-location.html

You can make a box that fits behind the seats. There's also room to put the t-tops back there at the same time but don't recline the seat too much.

I have two of them in the stock locations. You can't beat them for the money. They are definately an improvement over the stock 5.25's and you won't be dissapointed as long as you aren't expecting 10" sub bass. It's a bit of a pain fitting them in but it's worth it.

haha yah you did :dunno: lol.

i think im getting a custom box fitted behind the seat and the amp either wired to the frunk or mounted on the box its self.

didnt i leave all the wiring in the frunk for you to wire one up easily? im pretty sure all the wiring is still there and hooked up. i bolted the amp to a carpeted board and bolted that to where the spare tire bolts to and it worked perfectly fine. nice and sturdy.

This was my old setup, works well aslong a you don't have a cf hood. 1 15" will be more than enough.

Built these myself. They slot in perfectly into the hole behind the seats. Fits Alpine 8" Type S.
