perhaps you should take your front plate mount off, would make it look better but looks alright

By far the best fitting stock style CF hood I've seen. Where's it from?

IMO it needs paint on the hood and the lip.
Looks good otherwise though.

That looks to me like carbon fiber over the stock hood which does look nice but kind of defeats the purpose of weight reduction. I would paint the headlight covers black to give it a more finished look.

Seafoam loosens carbon deposits on the piston heads causing it to come out like that. Sometimes it can loosen a large chunk and mess up a valve, its also known to cause blowby on high milage engines because the carbon build up that was once sealing the piston ring has been removed.

Hopefully, that treatment worked out for you. Personally, I've never free revved my engine that high.

When I seafoamed a long time ago, I pulled off the highway, added the mix, watched tv for 10min, then started up and blasted it out on the highway.

iv never had a problem with seafoam and i have done it on a few cars... the revving wasn't that high... redline on the car is 7 i believe (quote me if i am wrong) i went as high as 6000...

whats the deal with the hood?

The hood is laminated, not r ealy cf as some people have mentioned, it is CF but not full CF hood, still looks great, but no weight reduction.

exactly what he said ^^ even with a full carbon hood the amount of weight saving isnt going to affect how my car performs.. the reason i really went with it is because my cars hood was fading and needed paint and i sought this out as a cheaper and more interesting solution
