How are these for studying, specifically the Shawnessy or Fish Creek libraries?
Do they have study carols, or just big tables?
I'm asking because I can't do school work at home, so I usually go to the University (which is a long drive from the SW.)
Damn midterms, hey? :(

The new libraries have all sorts of tables so you should be able to find what you need. It's a matter of how busy the place gets because they have a limited ammount of tables.
Have you tried studying at a coffee shop as well? It might not be as quite but it worked for me when I had to study for midterms and finals during my College days.

Fish Creek has a third floor just for studying, but there aren't enough tables/desks, and there are always kids who think it's a good hang out...if you can deal with a little bit of noise it's not too bad...
shawnessy has a separate quiet room for studying with study carols

When I'm in town I study at Shawnessy library in the quiet room. Bring some earplugs and you're set.
