Easily the best RX-7 conversion i've ever seen.

That is actualy not the bad. The other rx7 concepts ive seen look like garbage.

That looks really good. Now all they need to do is ditch the rotary for something more reliable and with torque IMO.

front looks too much like a corvette to me.

I like the real RX-7 better than this concept. Why they bother making many changes on a design that was years ahead of it's time, I don't know. That car is still sexy as hell

I disagree. The rotary is so small and powerful for it's size that they can pack it in areas conventional engines simply cannot fit. While the rotary DOES require *very* careful maintenence, and dies quickly if it is not performed properly, it is generally a very reliable engine design otherwise.
The problem much of the time is that the engine is allowed to overheat, the oil is allowed to run out (rotaries use a lot of oil), or the oil is not changed regularly enough. If any of these things occur, the engine is by far more fragile than others. But kept up, I've seen rotaries outlast pison engines.
With that said, I DID have an RX7 engine die on me before. lol.

I'm not a huge fan. Looks like a Batmobile from the front and a Vette from the side.

Meh. I still like the Veilside better.

Nice concept, but there's still something to be said for a big brutal kit which makes the RX7 scream aggression.
