Are the warranties Canadian?

Why are you selling a bunch of brand new lenses? Where were they bought originally? Just curious as I am possibly interested in the 70-200.

Also, I think you mean 17-35 rather than 20-35 on the one lens. If it indeed is the 17-35, you can buy a brand new one locally for $1529 so you may want to lower the price a bit, however the prices on the other 2 items are good for BNIB.

First off, Nikon warranties are non-transferable.

Secondly, the 20-35 f/2.8D he's referring to is this one:

I thought if the warranty card hasn't been filled out or anything, you can transfer the warranty because Nikon would not know who the original owner was? I think The Camera Store takes a copy of the warranty slip, but when I bought my old camera/lens at London Drugs, they didn't take anything.

Thanks for clearing up the 20-35 I didn't know they made that :) Looks like an interesting little lens.

Everything for sale is from my dad's shop that just closed down. All items are brand new and have never been sold, so the warranties haven't been activated yet.

The lenses have a 5 year Canadian warranty and a 1 year international warranty. An invoice will be provided as well.

:( That sucks to hear. Yeah, if the lenses have never been sold before, the warranties are fine. Nikon requires a name-matching receipt for warranty work, FYI.

Sorry to hear about the shop dude.

I am very interested in the 70-200VR when I get my tax return (pretty soon here). Is there GST on the lens or not? Not sure how that would work, if its technically still sold from the shop or not. Thanks.

Nope, all prices are including GST already.

Most of the stuff was used/under consignment and returned to the original owners. We still have some new 35mm stuff, so if there's anything you're looking for, PM me and i'll see if i have it in stock.
