http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/

Basically, it's a personal or team challenge that Nike advertises to support their Nike Free/Running/Plus campagne.

You can create Nike+ Challenges to reach set goals such as most kilometeres, distance goals, indiviual or team oriented races etc.

Nike started this Nike+ campagne during the release of the Apple/Nike collab I believe. You can buy special iPod unit Shox or Air Max running shoes and link them to your iPod to monitor distance, heart rate, velocity etc. on your iPod while listening to music. Just an FYI :)

I just run and drive the distance after in my car... seems to be easier than fucking around with yet another silly iPod accessory.

Used to do that to get the distance to an acceptable margin, but I eventually got bored of the routes and bought a Garmin Forerunner 301. Heartrate, GPS, etc all in one.

If I was still training for the Calgary half or the full in Kelowna in October, then I would definitely be up for this challenge.
