selling my 95 EG Hatch
good project car, but the body needs work. it has the famous tremclad paint job, and its not done well at all. currently painted yellow. i would suggest to spray bomb it black or something. anyways, odo says 230k at the moment. engine probably around 80k.

-New JDM ZC VTEC SOHC engine (same as d16z6, and I still have the receipt from JDM Source)
-Tranny shifts Smooth, no grinds, clutch had lots left on it. (CX Tranny is installed)
-JVC deck,Infinity rear 6x9's,RCA's in the doors
-Ractiveshort ram intake
-Aftermarket muffler (unknown)
-newer nordic winter tires on all 4 corners
"HID Look" headlight bulbs
- New rear upper control arms
-rust free for the most part
-new horn
-have clean carfax report



The Bad

Needs out of province inspection, and there is a small rust hole in the drivers side floorboard preventing it from passing. It will pass safety no problem, but the hole will have to be fixed to get it to pass OOP. Passenger side mirror is cracked, hatch door release doesn't work (snapped cable), bumpers are cracked, cluster kicks out sometimes, if you kick the fusebox it comes back on probably a loose wire. also drivers side door inside lock switch is broken. needs a new fuel door too.


Extra parts

i made a junkyard trip a few days ago and got the following stuff for it:

new rust free hatch door with new release cable
rear hatch glass
OEM spoiler with 3rd brake light
DC2 integra LS cluster with tach (fits with modification)



overall it gets around town great, awesome on gas and is pretty quick for what it is. would make a sweet project car. i just don't have the space/ time for it.

this motor is the 1.6l and 130hp.

Its actually the D15, they never did make a 1.6L in japan unless it is the DOHC ZC at 1.6L. the SOHC ZC which was not Vtec was also 1.5 was it not? Not complaining but i do beleive that is the:
D15b Vtec 130hp at 7000rpm
100ft/lb at some rpm..

PS: check engine code by looking to the left of ur head gasket following the engine down 3/4 the way to find a tab where it will have XXX for engine code :thumbsup:

i did check the code it says ZC. they did make a 1.6l vtec zc.

ZC(similar to D15Z4, D16Z6, D16A1, D16A3, D16A6, D16A8, D16A9 and D16Z5 engines)

A few D-series variants are labelled "ZC" (usually JDM), but they are not truly a different series.

There are both SOHC and DOHC ZC engines.

The non-VTEC SOHC ZC is similar to the D15Z4 and D16A6 engine, but with more aggressive cam timing.

The VTEC SOHC ZC is identical to the D16Z6, and the DOHC ZC is similar to the D16A1, D16A3, D16A8, D16A9 and D16Z5 engines.

Euro Mk1 (85-87) 1.6 CRX's are fitted with an engine designated "ZC1" which is a higher spec 130 bhp version of the D16a1.

The JDM Browntop ZC from the 84-87 Civic CR-X and Integra made 135hp from the factory.

this engine is 1.6 SOHC Vtec engine. Also, they made 1.6 Si engine in Japan.. D15B engine has silver valve cover and 1.6 Si motor has balck valve cover. Also, 1.6 Si engine was in EG1 and EG4 in Japan.

the motor alone is worth 500-600. lots of useable parts. i guess i could part it out.....i have no desire to yank the motor though. i just put it in :P

i need this thing gone asap though. fire me a decent offer and i will probably take it.

the motor is brand new from jdmsource. hardly junk, GTFO if your not interested. and for the record i didn't paint it. bought it like this. the car is mechanically sound, runs perfect. so it has a loose wire somewhere, so what?
front bumper is fine, rear is a bit out of alignment. its a beater.

once again, not interested, or you plan on lowballing, don't bother posting.
