That's pretty cool. Those headlights are pretty off the wall - not sure if I like that or not.

Hopefully this time they power the Maxima to be faster than the Altima. I think that's a big mistake they made with the earlier model....

i really don't like where nissan is going with the back end/tail lights on their new cars, it's looks ugly and cheap to me.

Although i do like the front and the interior.

It's .... different than the current one. The front reminds of the GT-R slightly or I think they like the new N.A. Accord's front. The back is getting a little Kia/Hyundai-ish. Not too bad i guess.

Doesn't have the same initial impression on me as the previous 2 or 3 models. But we'll see when more pics get released.

It alright. I dont like the headlights, and I think the wheelbase is too short, that is from a sideview it looks like both wheels should be farther away.
At least they got rid of the crappy gauge cluster that was impossible to read in the current ones.

I think the new accord is way nicer.

I love my Maxima when I head out on the highway on trips, but in town it is way too big. Not sure about the 'dated' drivetrain. I gently press the gas on deerfoot and I'm at 200 before I know it.

When my lease is up I'll be going back to a small car.

I'm not a 100% on the exterior yet (mainly the front), but the interior is impressive. It is amazing how Nissan/Infiniti has gone from some of the worst interiors in the business to some of the best recently IMO.

Previous Altima/Murano/Titan/Armada/G35 were all quite below average but the current restyles of all of them that have just came out are all some of if not the best in class imo. :thumbsup:

Altima took over Maxima's role in 02. Maxima is supposed to take on Avalon now, hence the size.

The interior is a variation of Infiniti's which they use for all G, EX and new FX class.

gotta say from driving the maxima before this the exterior definetly took a turn for the worse...however that interior is DEFINETLY 500% nicer than the current one.....not to mention no more tape player in this one..thank god
