Hey guys lol I have a problem :D
And i know this is making me come off as a ditz but...

I need someone to change a lighbulb for me :rofl: The landlord tried to change it herself and determined she couldnt...and calling an electrician or handyman to change a lightbulb is kinda frowned upon :nut:

Its at the top of a really high staircase, and I dont have a ladder, and I am petrified of heights.

I will supply the lightbulb if you can supply the ladder :)

Must be done by Friday night as I am having a few people over to my place.

Please let me know what it would be worth to you as well :D

haha, I have been putting off changing that exact same bulb for a while now, maybe it's time to finally change it. I've done it before and have a ladder, but I'm just lazy.

Where abouts do you live?

You can buy one of these long extension thingies at Home Depot for just that sort of thing. Has a grip on the end that grabs the bulb for you, and I believe it telescopes as well.

Kinda like this:

Plus, you can always return it when you're done, I suppose ;)

its actually a fixture with the screws on the side....not just a bare bulb :(

Good tip though :) Its cool all sorts of telescopic stuff they come out with...I cant count the number of times I have used that telescope magnet on a stick from my toolbox :)

We have a similar light in our house and I resorted to standing on a chair on top of the kitchen table with my girlfriend on my shoulders.

Technically not letting a beyond member INTO my house lol. Its just the stairway before my suite :thumbsup:

You would need a few more girl friends standing on each other :drool: to change the bulb where I think this light is.

I would help if you were closer because I'm no electrician, but I needed 2 ladders to change mine "safely"

I think the real answer all these guys want to hear is:

What sort of special "payment/restitution" will take place after the alleged bulb has been replaced?

In all seriousness, how much is too much to pay? Have you tried calling some lighting stores like Carrington or Robinson? No gaurantees, but it might be cheaper than an electrician.

Its my responsibility because there is no tenant upstairs with me I seriously blow tons of lightbulbs...not sure why.
