The engine is from a early 90's Celica. Originally from Kawa in Calgary but was never installed. Complete with turbo and intercooler. Only missing ECU which can easily be found on E-Bay.

$1500 OBO.

PM me if interested.

I've been slowly acquiring parts for the 914 (calipers, rotors, master cylinder, tail lights, fuel tank, axles, cv joints, mirrors, etc.) but am reconsidering the choice of engine. If I can find a Porsche 6 at a reasonable price that is the way I would like to go. If not, I may consider a Subaru flat 6 or flat 4. The only problem with the Toyota engine stemmed from the fact no one else had done one and if - at some later date - I decided to go with a Porsche 6 I would be stuck with about $2000 in adapters, etc. that would be useless. Doing some research I have found that there are many out there who have done the Suburu swap in sandrails and airplanes with success - many with Porsche transmissions. So if I go with the Subaru I should have no problem selling the adapters. Ultimately I would like to go Porsche 6 but that may have to wait.

Here are some more pics of my 914:

I'm thinking of calling it "My J Lo" - mainly because I think she's beautiful and has a big behind. ;)

They are a Kinesis Motorsport 3 Piece 17" wheel. I believe they are 17 x 12's in the back (315/35 rubber) and 17x10's in the front (275/40 rubber)
