Well gotta say I love a good feta or goat cheese on a nice pizza. Any other good cheese that might be different but sorta in that kinda line of cheese. Meaning feta and goat cheese sorta have that same consistency.

Where do you get your cheese curd from?

you can usually buy curds right at co-op but we normally go to Alberta Cheese Company, you can get all different size bags.

Just made me hungry.... :dunno:

We have a store that specializes in having every kind/type of cheese imaginable in stock, it's pretty awesome. Even if you've only ever ate cheddar or aren't a real cheese fan, you'll kind some great stuff there to try.

Anything like that in Calgary?

MMMMM a girl who tastes like cheese...almost as bad as some of the "tuna" stories I have been hearing lately....:barf: Its called personal hygene women!!!

There are a few places I have seen. There is one off 14th street and 20th Ave NW....I think its the Alberta Cheese Co....They do little samplers of different kinds ever now and then....

I love bleu cheese. Provolone is great on sandwiches, havarti is good, but it can be a little too buttery.

ekguy

used to get a jalepeno havarti that wasn't bad in sandwiches but it was a bit bland i find. I don't mind a decent aged cheddar. I also like those babybel cheese things with the wax around them.

The middle part is butter, which you can use for cooking and stuff, but the outer cheese part is to die for.

This looks like Burrata.....which I looked around for in Calgary and couldn't find. Anyone know where I can get it?

I like Gruyere.

That's what i was aiming for..the flavor....love it to be tardy and have a little kick there...

can anyone else suggest something strong like that?

blue cheese is a piece of cake but of course you can get really sick of it after 3 mins of eating it with a salad or burger

I had this cheese on a cruise we went on and at first i thought it was blue cheese but when i started eating it I almost puked cause it was so nasty. I cut into it and there literally was small amounts of mould in it. I found out at dinner from this other couple that had the same experience that it was some type of mouldy cheese. I still have nightmares about that.
