Hey, just wondering if anyone knows any place to roll/wrestle/ju-jitsu/boxing...etc in the south part of Calgary. Just has to be a place with some mats. BDB 2/3 times a week is not enough and need something to fit my schedule.

Thanks for any input

Southland Leisure Centre used to have a gymnastics gym. We used to go do flips and shit on their trampolines but they had a big area. I know they used to do jiu jitsu there as well. It was run by some random dude. Check there?

The mats are property of Hamon JJ Dojo and are not for public use.

Thanks

So there is no public mats to just roll around? Does the Fighter Nation Goldy's gym have mats open to the public or is that gym using it 24/7?

my impression is that you're going to have a hard time finding mats to just roll around on due to liability issues.

Oh yea... good point... Bahhh that fucking sucks then, I dont really want to wrestle with other people or learn from them, just want to go roll around when im bored like people go out to play a game of hockey or something.

Don't feel like paying for classes, because I know working is going to get in the way and i am going to be that devoted to attending these classes.
