It's time to bite the bullet and get myself some business cards. I'd like to get something a little unique.

Can anyone recommend a printer around town that can do a little more than the standard business card fare?

I don't know how fancy you are looking for

I had mine done at the digital post, they were done on translucent cards and most people that have seen them think they are pretty unique

i think there was a thread on this...cant seem to find it at the moment...but there were some crazy crazy pictures of business cards that suited the companies perfectly. i'll try and find that thread.

My friend has a cool card for his website... Hes a DJ...its the coca cola slogan...but instead of "enjoy coca cola" its "enjoy cary chang"

Yah I just put an order through with rayacom on wednesday and everytime the lady emails me back their charges double for recreation of the business cards  it went from being 17.25 to recreate the design of the cards to 30 minutes of recreating the design for 34.50 :thumbsdow

Now I have to go and get my deposit back.

Good luck, I went in with my own design file, they said everything "should" be ok, I put down $100 deposit... then they called me back saying they have to charge me 1 hour ($65) design, which turned out to be 2 lines touched up (on an invoice), and they still can't get it right.

Douchebag Kevin kept on pushing for production after their "designer" kept messing up the graphics, so I finally told them to keep the deposit.

UPS store in crowfoot does a pretty good job. John owns the place and takes presonal pride in these things, and is a man of his word.

I used to design cards from scratch with him when I worked for him, and if you don't mind paying a bit more, and get a top notch job, i would definatly go and see him.

Back in the day we made some really funky cards, everything from translucent to textured papers. we even did casino chips, and turned them into business cards for one client.

you guys are complete pussies and fail at business if you cannot spend at least $100 on some fucking business cards.

No one said anything about not spending $100 on business cards...

Your lack of reading comprehension and capitalization lead me to believe that you are not a Trump, either.

Don't go to Rayacom. The ladies are nice and all but they try to sucker money out of you.

Read my post above if you're confused. But anyways I'm trying to get a refund and they are saying they can't do it but they can put a credit note on my account.

Wtf am I going to do with a credit note when I'll never print with them.

I recommend digital jungle, they did a good job when I had some personal cards made up a couple years ago.

$25 to store the template on top of whatever type of run you're doing, digital press, choice of stock.

I did all the art in illustrator myself, templates at 4by6.com

I design my own cards but that's where I get them printed.
