help: Factory stereo code(2000 integra)

i have a 2000 integra with a factory deck is there anyway i can get the code for it (currently installed)

The code should be in your factory manual, if not your other option is to go to the dealer and give them your vin as well proof that the vehicle is yours.

My Integra had a card with the stereo code on it. You should be able to find it in your user manual.

If not go to the dealership. I got mine from the Honda dealership free last time after proving I owned the vehicle.

I thought the code was a theft deterrent. If the code is in the glove box, the thief need only take an extra 5 seconds to write the code down.

hence, what is the point of the code if Honda just sticks it in the glove box?

ok cool thanks i'll check the glove box... but i don't think it will be there
i bought it used and it didn't come with a usermanual or any paperwoork
